Bursary Program

The Rise Building Brighter Futures Bursary Program provides access to education, one of the ways we are living our values as to who we are at Rise to support the rising presence of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.

The program is offered in partnership with Indspire, a national Indigenous charity, which will support the administration of the Program.

Access to education supports Indigenous peoples to bring new ideas and their voices forward, creating new pathways for businesses, communities, and Canada. Education is one way to build a foundation for sustained economic growth.

The program includes two annual bursaries ($6,600 each), distributed for five years (2021-2026), to one post-secondary student in programs related to Indigenous history, Indigenous language, Indigenous Governance, and Indigenous Law, and to one post-secondary student in programs associated with Economics, Finance or Sustainability.

Kind Words

“We are deeply grateful to the team at Rise for leading a thoughtful and impactful session in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. They shared knowledge, lived experience, and practical insight; and created space for reflection, learning and meaningful dialogue across our firm.”
